DataCebo is a synthetic data provider using GenAI techniques for testing and training ML models. Its synthetic data libraries offer multiple ML models, benchmarking, and evaluation frameworks, enabling businesses to incorporate synthetic data into their workflows. It also offers an open-source Python library called Synthetic Data Metrics (SDMetrics) for evaluating tabular synthetic data against real data as well as to generate visual reports on them.
In addition, the company offers a platform called Synthetic Data Vault (SDV) Enterprise, which provides synthetic data to build, deploy, and manage GenAI models tailored for enterprise-grade applications in situations where real data is scarce or unavailable.
Funding and financials
In December 2023, the company raised USD 8.5 million in seed funding, co-led by Link Ventures and Zetta Venture Partners. It had planned to use the funds to accelerate the development of its platform and to establish a go-to-market team.
