The company offers application programming interfaces and software development kits that can be integrated with a user’s platform and dynamically adjusts approvals for sellers. Parafin also manages the product, underwriting, capital markets, compliance, and marketing for its partners.

As of August 2022, Parafin reportedly supported the embedded capital offerings of DoorDash Capital and Mindbody Capital. It claims that companies that use its services serve over 700,000 small and medium-sized businesses globally.
Funding and financials
In April 2024, Parafin secured USD 125 million through a warehouse facility from Silicon Valley Bank (a division of First Citizens Bank) and Trinity Capital Inc. The company planned to use the facility to provide capital financing to businesses such as DoorDash and Amazon. In August 2022, Parafin raised USD 50 million in Series B funding led by GIC Pte at a valuation of USD 520 million. Additionally, the company also secured a credit line of USD 150 million from Atalaya Capital Management and Jefferies Financial Group. The company earmarked the funds for the launch of new products targeting small businesses, such as business charge cards.
Parafin reported that its quarterly run-rate revenue and total financing volume grew by 87% and 77%, respectively, in Q2 2022.
