Million on Mars is a Web3-based game developer. It launched its namesake game–Million on Mars– in November 2021, which is a SciFi-crafting simulation about how the human race can colonize the planet Mars. The game works on a play-and-own model and is deployed on the Wax and Solana blockchains.

Funding and financials

The company raised USD 3.5 million in a seed funding round in February 2023, co-led by Great South Gate and Widus Partners, with participation from Solana Labs. It had earmarked the fresh funds to add more systems and virtual environments to its game. As of the same date, it also claimed that it had reached profitability and was generating positive cash flow from selling building packs and other NFTs.
