California-based company d-Matrix has raised $110 million in a Series B funding round led by Temasek, bringing its total funds raised to $154 million. The funding will be used to support the commercialization of the company's Digital-In Memory Compute (DIMC) chiplet-based inference compute platform, called "Corsair," which is set to launch in 2024. The platform aims to address the memory bottleneck in AI computing and offer a more cost-effective alternative to GPU-based solutions. d-Matrix also plans to hire more staff to help with the launch and commercialization of its product.
