Denmark-based SynergyXR offers a platform for VR training. The company was founded as Unity Studios in 2008 by the founders of Unity Technologies and led by CEO Mads Troelsgaard. The platform allows users to build their own VR and AR training solutions by uploading their 3D models, videos, images, and docs to the cloud. Types of training solutions that can be created include those focused on technical training and equipment maintenance, sales, onboarding, and demo experiences. These modules are accessible via a VR/MR headset, PC, and smartphone.
Previously, in April 2022, the company allowed for the creation of photorealistic 3D virtual environments in less than an hour through its SynergyXR 2.0 update. In September 2023, the company added an LMS-integration feature through its SynergyXR 2.5 update, allowed learners to access relevant training modules directly via a PIN code, and allowed users to scan a QR code on-site to trigger relevant AR training modules. In October 2024, SynergyXR's 3.0 update added no-code content creation capabilities, allowing users to manage their own content, including 3D models, videos and PDFs, and monitor user bases.
