Netafim is one of the world's largest irrigation company and a global leader in precision agriculture solutions. Founded in 1965, the company pioneered drip irrigation technology, which uses plastic tubing to deliver water and fertilizers directly to plant root zones in a regulated manner. The company's drip fertigation technology enhances productivity by up to 90% and improves fertilizer use efficiency by 30-40% while decreasing crop evapotranspiration by 9-10% compared to traditional irrigation methods. Through its subsidiaries, Netafim manufactures and provides various irrigation products including drip lines, micro-tubing, filters, pressure regulators, valves, and digital farming solutions.

In April 2021, Netafim expanded its capabilities by establishing Gakon Netafim as its Greenhouse Unit. The company's ReGen recycling program processes used plastic dripline materials at its California facility to manufacture new dripline products, making it the only precision irrigation company with SCS Recycling Program Certification. Its SDI-E subsurface drip irrigation system helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90% through subsurface dairy effluent injections.
