France-based Inarix enables users to take pictures of their crops using smartphones and receive real-time crop quality assessment results through the company's platform PocketLab, allowing them to make informed decisions. The company has a customer base that includes major players in the French cereal industry and more than 400 users in France. Currently, Inarix can analyze and determine the quality of barley and soft wheat, and it is in the development stage for coffee and cocoa.
In February 2023 , Inarix raised EUR 3.1 million (~USD 3.3 million) in a seed funding round to scale its technology platform to cover new crops, including corn, soybeans, and coffee, in the following six to 12 months, nearly doubling its crop analysis capabilities and further growing its team for expansion into new markets, including the US.
