ExtraHop offers a network detection and response (NDR) solution that uses machine learning and behavioral analytics to monitor, detect, and respond to threats across cloud and on-premise environments using a single dashboard. The platform uses port mirroring (a method of monitoring network traffic) to analyze network traffic and extract information to understand app-level activity and other relevant information. Using machine learning, this information is analyzed to identify malicious behavior that could be an indication of a breach or a malware attack.
During Q1 2021, ExtraHop hit more than USD 100 million in annual recurring revenue, expecting an additional 40% growth during the year. The company’s major clients include Home Depot, Ulta Beauty, and the Texas Children’s Hospital among others.
