Axolotl Biosystems is a manufacturer based in Turkey that produces professional 3D bioprinters. Their flagship product is the Axo A3, a 3D printer designed for bioprinting and melt electrospinning writing applications. The Axo A3 utilizes Pneumatic Driven Extrusion technology to print bio/organic parts using liquid feedstock. It offers a build volume of 130 x 90 x 80 mm and features a high mechanical precision integrated system. The printer is equipped with interchangeable print heads, including heated, cooled, cell electrowriting, melt electrowriting, UV curing, and HD camera options, enabling versatility in research and applications. The print head can reach temperatures up to 265°C, while the print bed can be cooled down to -10°C through a water-based cooling system. The Axo A3 has a pressure range of 0 to 800 kPa and incorporates a UV-C sterilization system to prevent microbiological contamination.
