Doctolib

Doctolib is a France-based general telehealth provider offering a B2B2C Software-as-a-Service model connecting patients with healthcare providers to schedule virtual or physical consultations. Additionally, the online and mobile platform offers features such as Doctolib Médecin, which allows for patient medical document storage and sharing, note-taking, and issuing invoices. The company also offers an instant messaging feature to enable communication and secured document sharing between doctors and their patients; the company acquired a turnkey solution that enables end-to-end encryption called Tanker. It also has plans to expand beyond focusing on being an appointment booking platform.

As of July 2024, the company provided its platform to medical professionals on a subscription basis starting at EUR 135 (USD 147) per month, while physiotherapists were charged EUR 89 (USD 97) per month. 

In May 2024, the company acquired Aaron.ai, a Berlin-based business that develops AI-based phone assistance solutions for use in medical practices. The terms of the acquisition were undisclosed. With the acquisition of Aaron.ai, Doctolib planned to integrate the AI telephone assistant into its existing practice software, reducing the burden of calls for medical staff and cutting waiting times for patients.
