Germany-based Squake is a carbon accounting software for travel and logistics emissions. The company emerged from the Lufthansa Innovation Hub. It offers an API integration tool for calculating carbon emissions on travel booking sites and logistics software. In addition to flights, the company calculates emissions for shipping, car rentals, hotels, and logistics. In January 2023 , Reed and Mackay, a corporate travel and event management company partnered with Squake, to use the company’s carbon emission data and analysis platform to calculate travel emissions. Following this, in June 2023 , the company collaborated with HRS Partners, a corporate lodging and payment platform to leverage the former’s carbon calculation tool and compensation projects to offset travel and logistics-related emissions. In September 2023, Squake collaborated with Neste to integrate its SAF purchases into the Squake platform. In November 2023, the company partnered with AirPlus to integrate the EmbeddedCarbon+ feature for measuring carbon footprint of corporate travel. In October 2024, Squake partnered with Advito, a sustainability and business travel consultancy, to integrate the latter's GATE4 emissions methodology to improve carbon tracking for air travel.
