PayHop, based in Brazil, is developing a B2B BNPL solution that allows retailers to use credit card receivables as collateral for credit from suppliers. The supplier can submit sales orders through the platform, which is sent to the corresponding buyer for approval. Once approval is received, depending on the buyers collateralized receivables, the supplier payment is guaranteed. PayHop reported an average platform transaction size of BRL 3,000 (approx. USD 90) as of February 2022.

Funding and financials

In February 2024, PayHop raised an undisclosed amount in funding led by iDEXO (TOTVS’ corporate venture capital fund). The company plans to use the funds to expand into the escrow duplicates market, with plans to leverage strategic corporate venture capital partnerships for growth and operational enhancement through integration with TOTVS' management systems.

As of December 2023, the platform had processed total transaction volumes of BRL 200 million (~USD 40.1 million), boarded close to 400,000 retailers onto the platform and reported a 6x YoY increase in revenue.
