Carrefour SA (EPA: CA) is one of the world's largest retailers, headquartered in Paris, France. Founded in 1959 by Marcel Fournier and Louis Defforey, Carrefour pioneered the concept of the hypermarket, revolutionizing the retail industry in France and globally.

The company reported sales of EUR 94.1 billion in 2023 and aims to further grow its operations while maintaining a balance between price competitiveness and financial performance.
