WayaPay is a neobank that serves African immigrants in the US. It offers digital banking and money remittance services via a mobile app, which it launched in September 2022. It claims that users can open bank accounts within minutes and send money to mobile wallets in more than 10 countries in Africa for free. The app also allows users to make purchases by linking other bank cards. WayaPay had also planned to expand its offerings to savings accounts as well as credit and investment products.

Key customers and partnerships

The company does not have its own banking license and offers its services in partnership with multiple licensed and chartered US-based banks, authorized payment service providers, and card networks.
