Based in Switzerland, Ajuna Network provides a platform with a suite of tools for game developers to connect and utilize game engines, such as Unreal and Unity, to create blockchain games. As of February 2023, the platform was only compatible with Polkadot, and the company had plans to expand it to Ethereum and Polygon.
The company also develops its own blockchain-based games. Its first NFT collective game is called Awesome Ajuna Avatars, which is based on its flagship Web2 game, BattleMogs.
Funding and financials
The company raised USD 5 million in a private funding round in February 2023, led by CMCC Global. It aimed to utilize the funds to integrate its platform with additional game engines and to build trusted execution environments (TEEs) linked to the Polkadot, Ethereum, and Polygon networks.
