In May 2022, Ineratec launched the “Care-O-Sene” project in collaboration with the South African Government, focussing on decarbonization projects aimed at the aviation industry. Further, it also entered into a partnership with Clariant to accelerate developments in sustainable fuel production and signed an MoU with Japanese company Chiyoda to establish power-to-liquid projects in Japan and Asia-Pacific. In April 2023, INERATEC announced a collaboration agreement with Ferrostaal Chile to jointly develop e-fuel projects in Chile.Funding and financialsINERATEC raised a total of EUR 20 million (~USD 22 million) in funding, as of April 2023, with its latest funding coming in January 2023 from an undisclosed investment led by Honda Motor Co. with participation from Engie New Ventures, MPC, Safran Corporate Ventures, FO Holding, Planet A Ventures, and HTGF. The new investment was to be used to support further growth and development of its technologies.

Reverion is a German cleantech startup that has developed an innovative modular power plant technology based on fuel cells for efficient power generation and energy storage from biogas. The patented technology enables the electrochemical conversion of biogas or hydrogen into electricity with electrical efficiencies of up to 80%, which is double the efficiency of conventional solutions. Reverion's power plants can operate in a reversible mode, allowing them to generate and store green hydrogen or synthetic natural gas from excess wind and solar power, providing flexibility to the grid. Additionally, the process captures pure, storable CO2, enabling cost-effective carbon-negative power generation. Reverion's skid-based power plants are designed for plug-and-play installation and series production, making it easy to replace existing gas engines in biogas plants. In April 2023, the company raised EUR 8.5 million to accelerate the production of its 100kW and 500kW units.
