Based in India, Vance offers a cross-border banking platform that allows users to manage multiple bank accounts in various countries through a single account. Through the platform, users will also be able to transact using local rails, transfer and exchange currencies, and also invest in equities across markets in different countries.
The company had plans to launch its platform in the UK and the UAE by the end of 2022, with five more countries in the pipeline by the first quarter of 2023. It was open for sign-ups to join its waitlist as of October 2022.
Funding and financials
The company raised USD 5.8 million in seed funding in October 2022, led by Hummingbird Ventures, with participation from Global Founders Capital, Y-Combinator, and Soma Capital. It planned to funnel the fresh funds to triple its staff to 30 and develop new products and features such as savings accounts, investments, and remittances.
