Big Health helps individuals improve their mental health through tech-based cognitive behavioral therapy. The company's flagship products include Sleepio for insomnia, Daylight for anxiety, and Spark Direct for depression in individuals aged 13 and older. Big Health's digital therapeutics utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques and are designed to be fully automated, delivering personalized care without the need for clinician intervention. In May 2022, the company received a recommendation from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence for Sleepio as an alternative to sleeping pills such as zolpidem and zopiclone within the UK. In August 2024, the company received FDA approval for SleepioRx, a therapy tool intended to mitigate sleep disorders over a 90-day period. Furthermore, in September 2024, it obtained FDA approval for DaylightRx, a digital therapeutic intended to treat generalized anxiety disorder.

In July 2023, Big Health expanded its portfolio by acquiring Limbix, a company that developed digital therapeutics for adolescent mental health. This acquisition added SparkRx, a digital therapeutic for teens and young adults with depression symptoms, to Big Health's offerings. 

Key customers and partnerships

The company's products are primarily distributed through employers, health plans, and pharmacy benefit managers, with over 300,000 patients enrolled in treatment as of January 2023. As of January 2022, Big Health's products covered over 10 million lives globally. 

The company’s key customers include Comcast, Delta Air Lines, LinkedIn, Boston Medical Center, and Henry Ford Health System. In October 2021, Big Health announced that its products were added to CVS Caremark's pharmacy benefit management business, significantly expanding access to its digital therapeutics.

In 2022, the UK's National Health Service (NHS) Scotland made Big Health's products available to all Scottish adults. Furthermore, in March 2024, Big Health partnered with Grow Therapy to launch a comprehensive mental health platform that integrates Big Health's digital therapeutics with Grow Therapy's provider network.
