The meal plans with pre-portioned ingredients feature famous chef Martha Stewart’s recipes, spice blends, and cooking techniques. Customers can choose from 40+ recipes every week, tailored to their specific diet plans, such as vegan, low-carb, vegetarian, and meals that can be prepared in less than 30 minutes. The company offers seasonal produce and specific products made by artisanal producers. 

The company delivers to most of the contiguous US, charging a shipping fee of USD 8.99. The company’s most recent acquisition was in December 2021, when it acquired Chefgood, a Melbourne-based meal kit provider, for AUD 21 million (~USD 14 million). The acquisition builds on the company’s existing portfolio of brands including Martha Stewart & Marley Spoon and Dinnerly, allowing it to address more customer and meal segments.  

In August 2022 the company partnered Pernod Ricard Winemakers, to add a wine store to the company’s offering and to allow customers to pair wines with their meals.

In 2022, Marley Spoon reported a 16% YoY increase in net revenue(in constant currency) to EUR 401 million (USD 434 million). The company recorded an operating EBITDA loss of EUR 8.7 million (USD 9.5 million), an improvement from a loss of EUR 32.6 million (USD 35.6 million) in 2021. The company expects to generate a full year positive operating EBITDA for FY 2023.
