SCADAfence is a cybersecurity company that uses AI/ML to provide cybersecurity solutions for large-scale operational technology (OT) networks. The platform provides full coverage of OT networks and offers visibility, risk management, and threat detection.

Key customers and partnerships

The company operates in the US, Israel, Japan, and the DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) region, with deployments across the globe, and provides protection for devices across various industries, including manufacturing, building management, and critical infrastructure. 

SCADAfence has multiple technology and distribution partnerships with some of the leading brands in the industry such as Rapid7, Cyberason, Barracuda, Check Point, Siemens, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Networks. 

In July 2023, SCADAfence announced it was in talks to be acquired by Honeywell for an undisclosed amount.

Funding and financials

The company’s most recent funding round was in March 2023, following a USD 16 million investment from Fujitsu (through Fujitsu Ventures), Mitsubishi Electric, and Prosegur Corporation. The funding was expected to support  growth and expand geographical presence. Following this investment, SCADAfence was to form strategic partnerships with all three investors to either be integrated into their systems or to be offered as a joint service.
