 Liberation Labs, a precision fermentation company, has secured USD 3.5 million in funding via a Secured Promissory Note. The funding round was led by Agronomics with a contribution of USD 2 million. Other investors including New Agrarian Company Limited, Galloway Limited, and Jim Mellon, each invested USD 0.5 million.
 The funds will be used for the construction of Liberation Labs' Bio3 in Richmond, Indiana. The facility, expected to be functional in Q1 2025, will boast a fermentation capacity of 600,000-liters.
 In addition to the funding, Liberation Labs has also received a USD 1.39 million award from the US Department of Defense. This grant will support a feasibility study for a potential four million-liter commercial-scale plant that can flexibly cater to various industrial requirements. Upon successful feasibility, the project may receive further funding of up to USD 100 million.
