Highspot is a natively-built, end-to-end sales enablement platform which offers content management, contextual guidance, training and coaching, customer engagement and analytics for sales teams. As of February 2021, the company has more than 500 employees globally across Seattle, London, Munich, and Vancouver. Its customers include Twitter, General Motors, Nestle, Aetna, DocuSign, Dow Jones and Verizon Media and has a market presence in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Highspot has been active in strengthening its sales coaching, training and enablement features through community-based engagement. In June 2022, the firm announced the launch of the “Strategic Enablement Framework,” designed to help businesses achieve their strategic goals and new product capabilities. In November 2021, Highspot launched “Highspot Spark Community”, which is exclusively designed for members of the Highspot ecosystem, built to bring sales enablement leaders to share best practices, experiences and capabilities within the platform. In September 2021, Highspot launched the “Highspot Marketplace”, an exchange where Highspot customers can gain access to content from more than 20 marketing, sales, enablement and customer success partners, including Baker Communications, Challenger, Corporate Visions and RAIN Group. In addition, Highspot is also a contributor to Sales Enablement PRO, claimed to be the world’s largest community of sales enablement professionals, with more than 13,000 members, as of February 2021.
In March 2024, the company introduced advanced AI-driven coaching capabilities through Highspot Copilot, enabling personalized coaching, knowledge reinforcement, and actionable insights at scale within the sales enablement platform.
Key customers and partnerships
In November 2021, Highspot partnered with Gong, a revenue intelligence platform, to provide training courses, sales plays, analysis on buyer engagement, and replicating best practices. In August 2022, the firm partnered with natively integrated solution provider Salesloft, to further streamline the client engagement process for sales teams.
Funding and financials
Highspot raised USD 248 million in a Series F funding round, valuing the company at USD 3.5 billion, in January 2022. The round was co-led by new investors B Capital Group and D1 Capital Partners. The company planned to use the funds for international expansion, product development and to expand its team. It also reported that revenue grew by 935% year-over-year (YoY) over the last three years. Annual recurring revenue (ARR) net retention was more than 130% YoY while platform usage witnessed an increase of 150% YoY.
