Karman+

Founded in 2021, Karman+ is a company focused on near-earth asteroid mining for energy and resources. The company was initially headquartered in the Netherlands and relocated to Denver, Colorado in November 2022 . As opposed to other space mining companies whose initial goal is mineral and metal mining, Karman+ had plans to begin with mining for water. The company had plans to kickstart a flywheel of cis-lunar economy, where each mission builds upon and enables future missions. Furthermore, it had plans to create a self-sustaining feedback loop for its extraction operations to reduce costs and limit the number of earth to space launches.
