PolyCycle LLC is a plastic recycling company that processes plastic waste into feedstock to make monomers for new plastic products. The company utilizes an anaerobic pyrolysis process known as “The Grispin Process” under low temperatures and pressure to recycle waste.
PolyCycle partners with landfills, waste collection centers, and industrial producers to source non-recyclable plastic waste as feedstock for its process. This feedstock stream then enters the reactor and is converted to various products based on the tuning parameters of the reactor. Products such as post-consumer resin (PCR), ultra-low sulfur diesel, naphtha feedstocks, and hydrocarbon gases can be obtained.
The liquid output from this process is converted into distillates to create PolyCrude, a syn-crude oil that is refined for new monomer production. The non-condensable gasses produced during the cycle are fed back into the system to heat the pyrolysis system. The company's PCR-received verification from the GreenCircle organization confirms that it contains 100% post-consumer recycled plastics.
