Guardz is an Israel-based startup that provides real-time cybersecurity and cyber insurance for small-sized businesses in high-risk sectors, including law, healthcare, financial services, and retail. The platform monitors a company’s entire digital landscape and provides remediation plans to mitigate threats across top attack vectors, including cloud applications, web browsing, cyber awareness, devices, emails, and compromised data. The company currently sells cyber insurance as a white-label service to its customers.
Key customers and partnerships
Guardz was initially launched in the US market and served 300 customers, as of January 2023. The average number of employees within its current group of users is around 30–40 per company, and it had plans to target organizations with a size of 10–250 employees, with starting prices for the plan at USD 9 per user per month.
Funding and financials
In January 2023, the company raised USD 10 million in a seed funding round led by Hanaco Ventures. This announcement also marked the company’s emergence from stealth. The funds were utilized to broaden its product offering, develop its cyber insurance division, and expand its distribution channels.
