Final Foods

Final Foods, founded in 2022, is a Silicon Valley-based food and technology startup focused on producing clean-label, plant-based meat alternatives developed especially for gourmet chefs and the foodservice industry. Unlike most plant-based products, which come in ground form, Final Foods’ meat alternatives are available in slices and large cuts that are ideal for a variety of dishes and cooking methods such as grilling, sauteing, stewing, and stir-frying, among others.

In January 2023 , the company launched its first range of products that includes its Original Plant-Based Meat, Marinata, and Cotolette, which, according to the company, are made using pea proteins and a simple extrusion process without fillers, saturated fat, antibiotics, hormones, or bioengineered ingredients. Apart from this range, the company also sells plant-based jerky products. Available online, these products will initially begin shipping to California and Nevada.

On the technology front, the company is developing small-scale micro-factories for the plant-based industry, which are backed by cloud technology, blockchain, and IoT. Final Foods intended to license this production platform to small and medium businesses.
