Oligo Security

Oligo Security is an Israel-based startup that offers open-source security solutions. The company helps enterprises to detect and prevent open-source code vulnerabilities in their applications using library analysis and behavioral monitoring based on application context. The company’s patent-pending runtime application security and observability technology uses a proprietary extended Berkeley Packet Filter (eBPF) engine to detect and prevent attacks while maintaining the stability of the underlying application. This allows Oligo Security to monitor the runtime environment and identify the most  relevant vulnerabilities. 

Oligo can be deployed in a single command line, either in production or the organization’s staging environment, with no changes to the organization’s code.

Fundings and financials 

In February 2023, the company raised USD 28 million, in a split funding round between seed and Series A . The round was co-led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Ballistic Ventures, TLV Partners, and Shlomo Krame. The funds were expected to be used to accelerate runtime of the application security and observability.
