In July 2022, the company entered the cybersecurity educational space by acquiring Curricula, a character-driven, story-based cybersecurity awareness platform, for USD 22 million. The platform also features an integrated phishing simulator that allows organizations to build mock phishing campaigns to test employees and help them visualize the risk of cyber attacks and defend against real-world phishing tests. Since November 2021, the company offers free security awareness training on its platform for any organization for up to 1,000 employees. In March 2021, the company rolled out its new learning management system (LMS). The LMS includes a new Creator tool that customers can use to build training stories based on their own cybersecurity concerns. The tool leverages Curricula’s character-based training videos, quizzes, and other media resources. Additionally, the company launched its channel partner program allowing managed service providers (MSP) to add Curricula’s security awareness training platform to their portfolio of cybersecurity and compliance offerings. In January 2022, the company launched a freemium-based SOC 2 employee security awareness training program for corporates to train their employees.
