Flyby Robotics

Flyby Robotics is an end-to-end drone automation and delivery company. Its drone, “Flyby F-11,” is designed for developers and operators and features a machine-learning and AI-capable platform. Its key features include compliance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), 5G connectivity for beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) and remote operations, versatile modular payload mounts, AI-enhanced mission planning and navigation, programmable NVIDIA machine learning modules, and LIDAR-based obstacle avoidance technologies. The drones can navigate at a speed of up to 34.8 mph.

In early 2023, Flyby Robotics conducted a one-month pilot program in Mesa, Arizona, in partnership with food retailers and snack brands Nekter Juice Bar, MAD Greens, Tokyo Joe's, and Popadelics. Customers were able to place orders from the participating retailers via their apps.

Funding and financials

In April 2023, Flyby Robotics raised USD 4 million in a pre-seed funding round led by MaC Venture Capital for further product development to achieve Level 4 autonomy (fully autonomous but limited to specific locations and/or conditions).
