Tempo Software offers project management and resource planning solutions, through integrated applications for time management, budget and resource management, strategic road mapping, and program management for product management and software engineering teams. Tempo provides solutions in three key areas: road mapping and idea management, project portfolio management, and resource and cost management. 

The platform’s road mapping and idea management solution is named Roadmunk by Tempo, following Tempo's acquisition of Roadmunk in November 2021 . This solution lets teams create roadmaps and establish a vision and strategy for product development, reducing silos and creating organizational alignment. The tool also helps discover, track, and manage dependencies between and within projects. 

The platform’s project portfolio management tool, Structure for Jira, allows users to manage multiple Jira projects, programs, and portfolios in one place. It offers hierarchies and spreadsheet-like views for project planning, reporting, sprint planning, and release management, among others. 

The platform’s resource and cost management tool allows organizations to monitor their financial health, visualize costs and expenses against their planned budget, and measure and report on capital expenditure and operating expenditure. Tempo uses a subscription-based model across all its products starting at USD 10 per user per month.

In March 2023 , the company acquired LiquidPlanner, a project management software provider, for an undisclosed amount. As a result of the acquisition, LiquidPlanner's 27 employees were to join Tempo, expanding the latter's workforce to more than 350 employees.

Key customers and partnerships

The company claims to have a customer base of over 29,000 in more than 100 countries across various industries, including software development, IT, marketing, and manufacturing. Some of Tempo’s key customers include Airbus, Airbnb, Oracle, Netflix, Slack, and Cisco. 

Roadmunk by Tempo offers integrations with Jira, Azure DevOps, and GitHub to aggregate work across different platforms. Teams can publish their roadmaps to URL, PNG, or HTML and share them publicly or set up password access.

Funding and financials

In October 2022 , Tempo received an undisclosed investment from Diversis Capital to accelerate growth and expand operations. 

Tempo surpassed USD 100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) in 2022, maintaining profitable growth.
