Tempo, a provider of project management and resource planning solutions, has acquired LiquidPlanner, a project management software provider, for an undisclosed amount. As a result of the acquisition, LiquidPlanner's 27 employees will join Tempo, expanding the latter's workforce to more than 350 employees.
Tempo, which serves more than 28,000 customers across 100 countries, claims that the acquisition will further bolster its offering. It is profitable, having recently surpassed USD 100 million in annual recurring revenue.
Founded in 2006, LiquidPlanner provides a predictive scheduling engine that leverages priorities, capacity data, and work estimates to generate schedules. It also offers time-tracking and workload management solutions. Customers include notable names such as KPMG, Delta Airlines, and Bayer. The company achieved profitability in 2018 and has raised approximately USD 17 million in funding.
