Chamlion

Based in China, Chamlion offers end-to-end digital dentistry solutions based on 3D printing technology. The company employs a hardware-as-a-service (HaaS) business model for dental 3D printing by linking 3D printers to the internet and constructing a widely-distributed dental manufacturing cloud factory. Chamlion’s printers are based on proprietary digital light processing (DLP) technology. It has also developed 3D printing control software, 3D printing data processing software, and AI intelligent design software for dental production. 

The company had branches in the US, France, and Turkey and operated in 27 countries, with 300+ cloud factories producing 100,000 crowns and 10,000 frameworks daily, as of October 2023.

As of October 2023, Chamlion provided services to 1,500 dental labs.

In October 2023, Chamlion partnered with surface metal finishing provider GPAINNOVA to become its exclusive dental strategic partner in China. 

Funding and financials

Chamlion raised USD 34 million (~CNY 236 million) in a Series B round led by 3H Health in April 2023 to expand the company’s domestic and overseas operations. The company planned to increase the number of factories to 300 by the end of 2023.
