Karmine Corp (KCorp) is a French-based esports organization founded by the popular French streamer Kameto and influencer Prime. The company fields teams in esports titles such as Rocket League, Valorant, European VCT League, TrackMania, Smash Bros Ultimate, and Game Changers, an exclusive female Valorant competition. The company also hosts tournaments in Valorant, League of Legends, Smash, and Rocket League titles.
The organization quickly gained popularity among the French community and has one of the largest fan bases in France and French-speaking countries. The company debuted in the League of Legends French League (LFL) after qualifying from the second division and ended up winning the playoff final 3-0 against Misfits to win its first LFL Championship title. In May 2024, Karmine Corp launched a 3,000-seat esports arena in Evry, France, which is expected to serve as the team's resident club.
Its notable achievements include winning EMEA Masters each time it participated (as of September 2023). Additionally, the company won its fourth title and its first major Rocket League trophy in 2023. Its portfolio of championships includes the LFL Spring Split 2021, European Masters Spring & Summer 2021, European Masters Spring 2022, RLCS- Fall Cup 2022, RLCS - Winter Open 2023, RLCS - Winter Cup 2023, TFT - Galaxies 2020, TFT - Rising Legends EMEA 2023, and Hex League 2022 -Split 2.
KCorp has a dedicated fanbase called “The Ultras.” They travel to physical events in France and internationally to represent KCorp’s values. In June 2022, KCorp held its third physical event, KCX2, at Accor Arena with 13,000 people attending the event. In September 2023 , revealed plans to open its own esports arena—Arènes de l'Agora—in Evry France, which will feature 3,000 seats.
KCorp became the most-watched team of the EMEA Masters Summer 2023 tournament, generating 2.4 million hours with the top five most-watched matches of the tournament being played by KCorp.
In October 2023, KCorp acquired Astralis’ slot in the LEC, League of Legends’ EMEA franchised competition by purchasing 66.67% of stake in a subsidiary, AK-Games SAS, for USD ~18 million, enabling them to participate in the LEC starting from 2024.
Key customers and partnerships
In May 2023, KCorp entered into a partnership with the Swiss Communication platform Sonix, allowing its players to use the latter’s platform for in-game communication. KCorp was to subsequently promote Sonix’s platform in France and other regions.
Karmine Corp entered into a brand partnership with Redbull in 2022.
