Karmine Corp, a French-based esports organization founded by popular French streamer Kameto and influencer Prime, has acquired a majority stake in Astralis' slot in the LEC (League of Legends' EMEA franchised competition). In order to acquire the slot, Karmine Corp purchased a 66.67% stake in a subsidiary called AK-Games SAS for approximately $18 million. This acquisition now allows Karmine Corp to participate in the LEC from 2024 onwards, increasing their visibility and competitive standing within the League of Legends ecosystem.
