SuperCircle
Supercircle is a startup providing a reverse logistics solution for clothing recycling. Launched by the founders of footwear brand, Thousand Fell, Supercircle manages the tech interface, collection, and sorting of clothing items. The solution involves collecting data on the material composition of online purchases to reduce the need for manual sorting, exploring infrared sorting tech for returns that are hard to identify or are in bulk. The company warehouses the clothing it collects and makes bulk shipments to recycling partners who convert waste into new fibers.
Supercircle’s digital solution supports brands’ consumer-facing clothing take-back schemes and also integrates with their returns process to divert items that can’t be resold to recycling partners. The solution also provides brands with a means to track where their old clothes end up through digital tagging and the environmental savings this involves. Supercicle also offers an excess inventory management solution.
