BrightPlan offers a financial wellness solution for employers that includes a digital platform as well as certified finance professionals to improve the financial health of staff. The platform includes features such as custom educational resources and an AI-powered mobile app for employees to assess financial health, carry out financial planning, create budgets, analyze spending, identify insurance needs, obtain savings advice, and automate investments. It also offers an AI-powered Financial Wellness Coach that offers 24/7 personalized financial guidance to employees across the globe.

In February 2023, BrightPlan launched the Workforce Financial Wellness Gauge, an offering that provides employers with anonymized, aggregated employee financial data to help identify gaps in workforce financial well-being. BrightPlan launched the Total Rewards Statement feature on its platform in July 2023. It allows employees to view all available ​​benefits, base salary, variable compensation, and equity compensation provided to employees, along with the value associated with each one.

BrightPlan operates on a subscription-based pricing model, and charges employers USD 3.47 per employee per month. The platform charges USD 20 per month when an employee leaves BrightPlan's client or the employer ceases to offer the program.

Key customers and partnerships

The company has partnered with sister-company, Plancorp (a wealth management firm), to bundle the services of the latter’s human financial advisors with BrightPlan’s offering. In October 2023, Brightplan partnered with UKG, an HR, payroll, and workforce management platform, to access employee data of UKG through the BrightPlan platform and improve employee financial wellness.
