Simon Data is a customer data platform (CDP) that aims to empower marketers and data teams. It leverages Snowflake architecture and offers an intuitive, low-code UI with out-of-the-box identity and data modeling. Its features include transforming data warehouses into marketing powerhouses through native integration with proprietary zero-ETL technology, providing marketing teams with instant data access, and centralizing data from various sources into a single customer profile without the need for engineering resources. Simon Data provides a range of solutions, including Simon Activate for audience development and Simon Engage for creating automated customer journeys across various channels. These solutions offer real-time personalization and multivariate testing features. Additionally, Simon Data offers data enrichment modules such as Match+, ID+, Simon Predict, and Data Shares to enhance customer engagement by enabling contact matching, identifying anonymous traffic, using AI-powered models, and syncing segmentation data in real time. Simon Data integrates with 70+ data and marketing tools, including Salesforce, Braze, Shopify, and Klaviyo.

Travel + Leisure, one of Simon Data’s customers, claimed that the use of CDP had resulted in USD 350,000 in incremental revenue per year. Teepublic claimed that its return on ad spend (ROAS) improved by 21% and The Farmer’s Dog also reported that the use of CPD had saved 80 engineering hours.

Key customers and partnerships 

As of September 2023, Simon Data’s customers included several Fortune 500 and other notable brands like JetBlue Airways, Asos, Tripadvisor, Venmo, and Equinox.

In February 2022, Simon Data and Attentive announced an integration that enables their mutual customers to reach their users more effectively through personalized SMS marketing powered by Attentive by using customized data sets created by Simon Data. Simon Data also partnered with Snowflake in March 2022, which enabled it to leverage Snowflake’s Media Data Cloud. 

Funding and financials 

In September 2023, the company raised USD 54 million in a Series D funding round led by Macquarie Capital to further develop connected applications with cloud data warehouses and expand the company's user base.
