FieldIn is an Israeli startup that provides sensor-based smart farming solutions. More specifically, the company provides commercial farms with an Agricultural Operating System (AgOS) which uses sensors, AI, and machine learning for specialty crop management. The company states that its sensors can be installed on all types of farm equipment (including tractors, sprayers, and mowers) transforming them into 'smart' machines. Data collected via the sensors is transmitted to the FieldIn platform, enabling real-time analysis of crop growth, and provides farmers with recommendations and solutions on harvesting, spraying of pesticides, and more. The company targets commercial-scale fruit, nut, and vegetable growers including application subcontractors who operate on at least 1,000 acres.

FieldIn claims that its users have witnessed around a 25% increase in productivity. In September 2019, the company reported that its revenue grew by more than 300% since the beginning of the year. As of September 2021, the company’s software solution is used across five of California's ten largest farms, and has deployed its sensors in 4,500 tractors. The company aims to cover over one million acres of high-value crops in California over the next few years.

In March 2023 , the company, along with Ouster, a developer of LiDAR sensors, deployed more than 100 retrofit autonomy kits for autonomous tractors, following the signing of their multi-year supply agreement.

FieldIn acquired Midnight Robotics, an autonomous farming solution provider (November 2021) to accelerate its existing farming data collection and leverage Midnight’s expertise to make autonomous farming a viable reality. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.FieldIn plans to combine its agricultural data platform (which has over 49 million hours worth of tractor driving) with Midnight Robotics’ autonomous technology and develop a new sensor-based autonomous driving system. The combined technology has already been deployed in major farms in California, with plans to expand the complete system in the upcoming months.

In September 2021, the company raised USD 30 million in a Series B funding round led by Fortissimo Capital. The funds are expected to be used to increase sales across its key markets, the US, and Australia, and expand its team of engineers in Israel.
