HP Inc. (NYSE: HPQ) is a global provider of personal computing and other access devices, imaging and printing products, and related technologies, solutions, and services. HP Inc. (HP) is headquartered in California and has operations in 185 locations worldwide, with over 28,000 patents as of FY2022 (year ending October 31). Founded in 1939, the company reinvented itself in 2015 , as HP separated into two independent companies: Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company and HP Inc. It was listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 1961, and HP was subsequently renamed as HP Inc. after the restructuring in 2015. HP was the market leader in either print or PC in 57 countries, securing either the number one or two positions. It generated revenue of USD 62.9 billion in FY2022.

HP operates through three segments: Personal Systems, Printing, and Corporate Investments. The Personal Systems segment offers commercial and consumer desktops, notebooks, workstations, thin clients, commercial mobility devices, retail point of sale systems, displays, hybrid systems, software, support, and services. The Printing segment focuses on consumer and commercial printer hardware, supplies, solutions, and services. Corporate Investments encompasses specific business incubation and investment projects.

In FY2022, ~42% of the company's revenue originated from the Americas, out of which the US accounted for ~34% of total revenue. In November 2022, HP unveiled the Future Ready plan, also known as the Fiscal 2023 Plan, to transform into a more digitally enabled company, concentrating investments on critical growth prospects and streamlining its operational framework. As part of this plan, the company anticipates generating a minimum of USD 1.4 billion in gross annualized run rate savings by end FY2025, with a 4,000–6,000 reduction in headcount over this period. HP also targets net-zero emissions by 2040.
