SpyCloud operates a cybersecurity platform that helps organizations prevent and investigate identity-based cyberattacks. The company's technology transforms data recaptured from breaches, malware-infected devices, and dark web sources into actionable insights to protect against ransomware, account takeover, session hijacking, and online fraud. The platform detects when employee login credentials are compromised by scanning for exposed passwords associated with internal supply chain applications and identifying compromised cookies that could enable session hijacking. In 2023, SpyCloud recaptured 43.7 billion distinct identity assets, including over 32 billion pieces of personally identifiable information. The company found that 61% of all data breaches in 2023 were malware-related, involving over 343 million stolen credentials. The platform seamlessly integrates with various identity response and orchestration systems including Active Directory, Okta, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, and Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSOAR.
