 3D-printing solutions provider, Nexa3D, has acquired 3D-Fuel, a manufacturer of 3D-printing filaments, for an undisclosed sum. 3D-Fuel provides a wide range of additive manufacturing materials with around 18 different filament categories in 40 different colors. They are known for specializing in plant-based materials and utilizing plant-absorbed carbon for their flagship product lines.
 The acquisition will allow 3D-Fuel to incorporate Nexa3D’s material solutions, which include validated resins, metals, and thermoplastics, into its own product range. It will also facilitate an improvement of operational efficiency and an increased investment in Research and Development.
