THINK Surgical develops and markets orthopedic surgical robots. The company's flagship product is the TMINI Miniature Robotic System, which received FDA clearance in April 2023 for total knee arthroplasty (TKA). The TMINI system features a wireless robotic handpiece that assists surgeons in total knee replacements. It works by following a CT-based three-dimensional surgical plan, automatically compensating for surgeon hand movement to locate surgical instruments precisely. The system is designed to be easy to use and replace many manual instruments used in knee replacement surgery. Further in August 2024, the TMINI system received FDA clearance for use with Medacta International's GMK Sphere and SpheriKA Knee Systems.

THINK Surgical's technology features an open implant library, which allows surgeons to choose implants from multiple manufacturers. This approach allows surgeons to select the most suitable implant for each patient.

The company has also developed other robotic systems, such as the TSolution One Total Knee Application, used in thousands of successful joint replacements worldwide.

Key customers and partnerships

THINK Surgical has partnered with several healthcare providers, including Washington Hospital Healthcare System, which became the first to use the TMINI Miniature Robotic System for total knee replacement procedures. The company has also collaborated with hospitals such as Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Missouri, and Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey to implement its robotic systems.

In June 2024, THINK Surgical entered a distribution agreement with Zimmer Biomet to offer an exclusive TMINI robotic solution integrated with Zimmer Biomet technology for total knee arthroplasty. In August 2022, it entered a distribution agreement with Curexo to distribute THINK's TSolution One platform in Korea and Vietnam.

THINK Surgical actively collaborates with various implant companies to expand its open implant library, aiming to provide surgeons with a wide range of options. In February 2024, it partnered with b-ONE Ortho Corporation to add the latter’s implants, including the MOBIO Total Knee System, to its ID-HUB database. The company also partnered with Waldemar Link and Maxx Orthopedics in February 2024 to integrate their implant systems with the TMINI platform. Further in July 2024, it partnered with Signature Orthopaedics, an orthopedic device manufacturer based in Australia, to integrate its implant systems with the TMINI platform.
