In March 2023, the company acquired electronic health record (EHR) management provider Patient Pattern for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition was carried out to further PointClickCare’s advancement into the value-based care field. Most recently, in November 2024, ThoroughCare, a digital care coordination company, partnered with PointClickCare to integrate its care management software into PointClickCare's marketplace. Through the partnership, ThoroughCare's care coordination platform was combined with PointClickCare's cloud-based elder care software, enabling long-term and post-acute care providers to access patient data through a unified system
Previously, in January 2023, Unite Us, a healthcare technology service provider, partnered with PointClickCare to address unmet social determinants of health (SDoH) needs for Oregon residents. Through the partnership, care managers, social workers, and others within the clinical ecosystem using PointClickCare’s system were able to access actionable information about the non-medical needs of patients served through Unite Us’ coordinated care network.
Additionally, PointClickCare partnered with Pfizer in November 2022 to exchange real-world data on seniors. Through the partnership, PointClickCare would provide Pfizer with real-world data insights that specifically represent older adults, especially those in long-term care facilities, to help guide decisions on new therapies.
PointClickCare also partnered with The American Health Care Association (AHCA) in October 2022 to serve as the non-profit’s new partner of the long-term care data cooperative. Through the partnership, PointClickCare joined a collective of leading long-term care providers that were working together to develop a health records system to monitor the impact of care treatments among nursing home residents and conduct public health surveillance of infections.
PointClickCare partnered with fellow technology provider InTouchLink in April 2022 to provide a holistic, interconnected approach to senior living care and information management. Through the partnership, both providers would connect their systems to provide long-term care (LTC) residences and senior living communities with a faster, more efficient way to create new resident profiles and populate resident profile information in the Directory with the click of a button, easily and efficiently.
