Wyze Labs is a technology company based in Seattle that specializes in producing affordable smart home devices and services. In December 2020, Wyze shook up the home security market by launching an inexpensive professional monitoring service for its home security system. For just USD 60 per year or USD five per month, customers receive 24/7 professional monitoring from a third-party provider called Noonlight. This undercuts competitor pricing significantly, such as Ring's monitoring fees.

The Wyze Home Monitoring Core Starter Kit includes a hub, keypad, entry sensors, and motion sensor that can trigger recording on Wyze cameras and smart lights/plugs to turn on. The system has home/away modes, and the hub contains an 82dB siren. Components communicate using 915MHz radio for long range. Wyze plans to expand the system with water leak and temperature sensors.

The cameras integrate with the security system and provide AI detection through the Cam Plus subscription service.
