 Digital healthcare firm, Brightside Health, has bought an undisclosed amount from Lionrock Recovery, an online substance abuse counseling provider. This move is intended to blend Lionrock's substance abuse counseling solution into the offerings of Brightside Health. 
 As a result of this acquisition, Brightside Health is set to incorporate the virtual intensive outpatient programs (IOP) for substance use disorder (SUD) from Lionrock Recovery directly into its own platform. This will enable Brightside Health to deliver a more extensive range of services for a wider segment of mental health patients, including services for anxiety, depression, suicide risk, alcohol use disorder, and SUD. Following the acquisition, Lionrock Recovery's corporate and clinical staff have joined Brightside Health.
 Lionrock Recovery offers IOP for SUD, including outpatient services and personalized counseling. These are intended to serve as a less interruptive, more cost-effective alternative to inpatient or residential treatment.
