Scoot (formerly Preciate) aims to redefine virtual meetings with an interface that replicates the experience of in-person gatherings. Scoot allows customers to choose custom background themes and music for meetings and livestream them into virtual rooms accessible through Scoot’s iOS and Android mobile apps. Scoot features "spontaneous conversations," which are breakout rooms that allow meeting participants to form smaller groups for more focused chats. Scoot’s "crowd noise technology” allows presenters to hear real-time reactions (e.g., applause, cheers, laughter) from the audience. Scoot's Smart Badging feature allows users to customize the meeting rooms to align with their brand, while leveraging external data analytics to inform decision-making. Smart Badging offers engaging interactive features like polls and breakout rooms to energize large presentations, and ensures seamless access from any device or location.
Platform admins can group employees in breakout rooms, release meeting features to participants, secure meetings through restricted settings, and access platform analytics to measure participant activity. Scoot offers APIs developers can build on top of, charging a subscription fee with customized pricing plans.
