Unqork

Unqork offers a patented cloud-based application platform that allows enterprises to build complex software applications in a visual environment without coding. The company specializes in financial services and insurance industries in an end-to-end digitalization and fulfillment platform. It aims to eliminate paper processing bottlenecks (such as policy issuance, servicing, and account opening). 

Unqork allows corporations to create forms for products such as insurance policies, annuities, retirement, bank accounts, asset management accounts, mortgages, and loans. The platform is capable of data collection through forms and analysis/processing based on user-defined rules. Unqork also uses technologies like machine learning and optical character recognition to extract handwritten and typed data. It also manages the infrastructure, security, scalability, hosting, and maintenance of user applications. 

The company has a global operational presence with offices in New York and London. It expanded its presence in Japan in February 2022 by adding to its sales and marketing teams to focus on growth in the region.

In July 2022, Unqork opened up its marketplace to third-party developers and other publishers enabling those who complete the company’s certification program to submit their pre-built software tools, templates, and integrations to the marketplace. In October 2023, the company launched an Integrated Development Environment (IDE), named UDesigner, as well as an “integration gateway” that enables users to securely integrate over 700 third-party systems. 

Key customers and partnerships

Unqork has also entered into solution partnerships with leading consultancy firms such as KPMG, EY, Deloitte, and CAPCO to jointly offer solutions.  It also announced the availability of its platform on the AWS Marketplace in January 2022, enabling it to tap into a large network of over 310,000 global customers. It also expanded to Azure marketplace in March 2023, and Google marketplace in August 2023.

Unqork partnered with Avo Automation, an intelligent no-code process discovery and test automation solutions provider, in January 2022 , to accelerate the software delivery and growth for both companies. In March 2023, the company partnered with Rhino.ai, an AI-driven software migration platform,  to launch a new software migration solution. Users can automatically extract workflows, schemas, data, and APIs, from legacy environments and platforms and migrate them onto Unqork’s platform.

The company went on to collaborate with Quantiphi, a digital engineering company, in August 2023, to launch an AI-powered underwriting platform (AiUP). The solution would combine technology from Dociphi, Quantiphi's intelligent document processing platform, Unqork’s no-code platform, and Google Cloud's services and infrastructure to enable users to digitize and automate the insurance underwriting process. 

The company has a global customer base ranging from companies in the US to the Asia-Pacific region as well as Europe. This includes large global enterprises like  John Hancock, Goldman Sachs, CareerWise, SMBC, and Liberty Mutual.
