 Alpine Quantum Technologies has granted a license for its EuroQCS-Poland to the European High-Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU). EuroQCS-Poland is a gateway-based quantum computer that uses trapped-ions technology and has over 20 physical qubits. The transaction was worth EUR 12.28 million (USD 13.4 million) and was funded by the EuroHPC JU and the Polish Ministry of Digital Affairs.
 
 Following its acquisition, EuroQCS-Poland is set to enhance the capabilities of the European supercomputing infrastructure and contribute to the creation of innovative applications with industrial, scientific, and societal implications.
