Groover

Groover is a France-based music promotion platform that connects independent artists with music curators, radio stations, and industry professionals. Artists can submit their tracks, choose specific curators and professionals to target, personalize their submissions, and receive guaranteed feedback within seven days. In addition to providing constructive feedback, the platform also offers opportunities for playlist placements, radio plays, social media shares, articles, and interviews. 

In April 2021, the company acquired Soonvibes, a digital music platform, to strengthen its presence in the electronic music scene by incorporating Soonvibes' 70,000 artists and leveraging its network of music industry professionals.

As of February 2024, the platform served ~350,000 independent artists from 180+ countries.

In March 2021, the company partnered with TuneCore, a music recording company, to help artists get their music heard by connecting them with media outlets, music labels, and influencers. In July 2023, Groover partnered with Horus Music, a music recording company, to provide its artists with enhanced music promotion opportunities.

Funding and financials

In February 2024, the company raised USD 8 million in a Series A funding round led by OneRagtime to introduce several new services, including coaching and career development support. As part of its growth strategy, the company will look to strengthen its position in the North American, European, and LATAM markets.
