Groover, a Paris-based music promotion platform, raised USD 8 million in a Series A funding round led by OneRagtime, Trind, Techmind, and MozzaAngels, with participation from existing investors Partech, Bpifrance's Tech & Touch fund, and Verve Ventures. This brings Groover's total funding to ~USD 16 million.
The company plans to use the funds to introduce several new services, including coaching and career development support. As part of its growth strategy, the company will look to strengthen its position in the North American, European, and LATAM markets.
Groover provides an all-in-one platform that connects independent artists with music curators, radio stations, and industry professionals. Artists can submit their tracks, choose specific curators and professionals to target, personalize their submissions, and receive guaranteed feedback within seven days. In addition to providing constructive feedback, the platform also offers opportunities for playlist placements, radio plays, social media shares, articles, and interviews. The platform currently serves ~350,000 independent artists from over 180 countries.
